My family of 5 just spent a whole day here on our vacation last week! We split up and 3 of us went horseback riding in the AM…our tour guide, Olivia, was so friendly and kind. Two ride ATV’s and had a blast! We ate lunch there…delicious…and had some time to spare, so we relaxed under some shade and listened to live music while our 9 yo had fun with the petting zoo and other fun things to play on! We all went zip lining in the afternoon and had so much fun together and saw some beautiful sights! Kurt and Todd were excellent guides and teachers! Thanks for an enjoyable day!

We visited the ranch and did the ATV/UTV tour. My mother and child were with me on the UTV. Wes was our guide and I HIGHLY recommend that man. He's absolutely amazing! We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again. The views were astounding and trails were so much fun. It was our first time doing anything like this, the trails were easy to navigate. Even with some small hiccups, Wes handled it all like a champ and we left laughing with a smile on our faces!

This was such an awesome experience! I’ve ridden before but it had been a while and my husband had never ridden. He couldn’t stop telling me how relaxing the experience was and he he was glad we were doing this! It was a highlight for both of us. Our guide, Haleigh was super helpful and our horses, Blanche and Captain, were so good! 10/10! ☺️

We came in with a party of 11 who all wanted to experience different activities in the mountains. Jayell Ranch covered everything everyone in our group wanted to do in one great location! Some zip lined, a couple went horseback riding and we also opted for the ATV tour. All three were great experiences! Every staff member was super friendly, engaging, and informative and prices were fair for each activity! Our group gave our (wonderful) ATV guides a run for their money, but it was a blast and an unforgettable experience full of ruts, mud, climbs, fun descents and laughs. I would recommend to anyone, especially groups who all want to partake in different things, to check out Jayell Ranch!

We had a lot of fun on the zip lines: Bri and Tristan were great! And the horse riding brought us through some beautiful country. My horse, McGraw, was a bit pokey so I had plenty of time to look around. 😜

We had a great time. We went horse back riding with hayleigh and she was amazing. She was so nice. Also did the animals and Jocelyn was great. I do wish we got to see monkey. It is expensive and didn't get to do that. A little disappointing.

We had a wonderful visit while at your ranch! Our family rented an ATV and a UTV. Our tour guide was Mike. He was very kind and so much fun as a tour guide! He was extremely patient and encouraging with our young riders. Love him!!
We come to TN every year, we would love to visit again.

Jayell ranch was a great experience. Hailey was a great tour guide for the horseback riding and James was a phenomenal tour guide on the atvs. Jayell ranch was an all around great experience and we enjoyed every moment.

August 2, 2025 Went to Jayelle Ranch with two of my besties on our annual girls trip. I am scared to death of heights. Signed up for 6 zip lines…. Could not have done it without the help of Jay, Tony and Kurt. Thank you Haleygh for the horse ride.

Our family really enjoyed our time at the ranch. Jaylee was an awesome guide for our horseback ride. It was the first time for our family and she made sure our kids felt comfortable the whole time. We then did a UTV tour with Eric. He made sure our tour was adventurous and exciting. We all enjoyed every part of our day at Jayell Ranch.

Took my 15-year-old son on his first ATV ride at Jayell Ranch and we had an amazing time! Keith was our instructor and he was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and made the experience fun and safe. We couldn’t have asked for a better first ride. Highly recommend!

Hayley (horseback riding) was very nice and social, Joey (zipline) was very kind and helpful to my kids and Erik (UTV ride) took us on a great ride after the rain and was not only intense but safe as well. Took time to stop and explain how to take certain turns a certain way, they were all exceptional. The entire staff was great and the ranch was in good shape, clean and overall a fun full day for my family. Was a little skeptical because for a family of four it was a little pricey but at the end of the day I’m glad we did it and would come back 100%

We went ATV riding with our guide, Bob. He was wonderful! I do think we got the best guide and he's only been there a short time! But having professional ATV experience helped! He was thorough with his explanations before different parts of the trails. We had a less experienced group, so it was bit slow at times, but overall, we would 100% do it again!! So much fun!!

A bucket list BIG fear conquered here. We did 3Zips (and i made kids sad because we couldnt do 6) and it was amazing!!!! This is for sure the best place for first zipline adventure!!!

We had a blast. My family did the horseback rides and ATV rides. We enjoyed it so much. The staff was very friendly and helpful. No complaints at all. Very family friendly. Lots of other things to do there too. I would definitely recommend them. We will definitely come back .

Did the ATV AND UTV tour today. Bob was out tour guide. He was AMAZING!!!! He has a great personality and very knowledgeable and very kind and funny. I would definitely recommend doing a tour with him. My whole family had a blast and would definitely come back again!!!! Thanks for a great time Bob!!!

We enjoyed our horse back ride. Coming out of the trees to such a breathtaking view was definitely a highlight for us. We rode Sorrel and Winston they were such sweet horses. Yasir was our tour guide. He was awesome. You can tell he loves the horses and he’s was funny. 10/10 recommend and we will be back.

Did the zipline with Nathan and Presli today. They were great! A lot of good tips for whatifs and put everyone at ease. Mucho confidence in these two. Wished I could have had more time with them today but, had other plans for the rest of it. Definitely be coming back this week. Recommending this to all family and friends.

Our granddaughters birthday wish was to ride horses in TN.. so we brought her to ride and her horse was Commanche and the horse did amazing .. we all had a great time. Our guide Samantha was amazing. I loved my horse Memphis .. we will definitely come back again .. thank you to all of you for making her day a rememberable one !!!

Great experience! Came back for another day to do the snow tubing! My girls had so much fun and “Slide daddy” made my nervous 5 year confident enough to go down. We will be back!

{My best friend and I went horseback riding and zip lining. Haleygh was was our Trail Guide and was so great. We had Hoss and Lucy as our horses. Then Jay and Presli were our zip line guides and they were so welcoming and fun. Jay taught us to do a flip on the last line. The staff were great and the adventures were the highlight of our trip.

{Rebecca, Kevin, and Michael made this experience amazing! Such great guides through horsebacking and ziplining! The ranch is such a great family spot too! Would for sure visit again when we come back!

{We LOVED Jayell Ranch! Stephanie was our first point of contact, and she was the BEST! She told us about all the attractions and the different combo options. Then we went on a horseback ride. Jayell, I think was her name, was outstanding! She was informative and educational all while being fun!

{Went on the atvs with Bob as my guide. He is a great guide...would definitely recommend him to anybody from beginner to advanced. He tailors the experience to all riders.... good job sir. Hats off to you!!!!! 10 stars in my book

{My husband and I went horseback riding and we had a blast. The only negative thing was that the tour guide was so far ahead of us that I wasn’t able to hear her or let her know the issues I was having with the ride men behind me. The hoses were beautiful and the were so much fun on the trail ride. Would definitely go again!

{First time here, We had the best time!! Definitely will be back. Keith was amazing very friendly and made our experience great with the exotic animals 💞 Breanna was super helpful & nice guy! Love the place!!! Only thing that upset me was lady gave me a cup of ice water after purchasing a drink then after being there for hours went back asking for some ice water because it was hot kid was thirsty and had spent 60 on drinks alone then lady said I had to pay 4 dollars for a cup of. Water and the water they had out at certain stations was hot but other than everything was amazing! Hector was the horse guid and had the best personality enjoyed it so much!

{Yassir was an amazing guide. Very observant & very helpful when you needed something during the ride. The instructions are very clear & the horses know the trail very well. The trail is well kept and in great condition. Amazing experience with great views.

{I really enjoyed my experience on the ATVs with Robert Price !!!! He made everything so much easier considering that it was my first time mudding. I do have experience with riding ATV’s but not like that lol! I would definitely recommend him as a guide for everyone that comes to Jayell Ranch. 10/10 experience!!!!!!

{My boys and I absolutely LOVED our trip to Jayell Ranch! We stayed at one of the cabins for 3 nights and can’t wait to come back! Being a single mom of 2 boys (5&14) it was very important to find the right place for us to stay. The cabin was charming, clean, and cozy, had plenty of space for my rambunctious 5 year old to run around outside. My 14 year old had the loft to himself (to escape his brother 😅). I also felt totally SAFE the entire stay, which was so appreciated. The first evening while we were enjoying marshmallows in our fire pit and watching the fireflies, the horses came right up to the fence in front of the cabin and visited. The location is absolutely perfect! You’re right at the edge of pigeon forge/sevierville and with gatlinburg about 20 minutes. Lots of great local places and all of the amenities of the ranch was only a 3 minute drive. If you’re looking for somewhere close to everything but just far enough to enjoy the quiet and get away from the crowds, THIS is it!! Very affordable and worth every dime! The staff are also very accommodating, and the ease of booking and checking in/out was wonderful. And the view was beautiful as well! We also enjoyed the amenities and loved that we could do multiple in one day, which opened up our schedule to visit other places during our vacation. In one day we went horseback riding, trail riding on the UTV, and ziplining. Our guide for horseback riding was Jaylee, who was so sweet and personable, and knowledgeable about the ranch. She made my little guy very comfortable on his first horseback ride! Then, we had Patrick who was our off-road UTV guide. He was awesome and made sure everyone had a blast! He even let our group stop for pictures at the top. And Lastly my 5 year old and I went zip lining with Erik and Nathan. They were so much fun to go with, making sure we were comfortable and having fun the whole time. They were really great with my 5 year old in explaining safety and even showed my little guy some tricks and then cheered him on when he did them himself! We enjoyed the little commentaries about each line and jokes made along the way! And most importantly, with every one of our guides I never felt scared for mine or my sons’ safety at all the entire trip! We were definitely in good hands! Thank you Jayell Ranch for the precious memories that we will undoubtedly remember for the years to come! We can’t wait to come back!!

{Brendon did the thing he be doing. He made us feel like family. Almost like he was our step-brother. I would let him play on my drumset if he wanted to. Today was great because of him. Tristen guided us along the mountain on horse back. He too was an awesome character. Very friendly and nice as could be. His hair looked really soft too which I thought was kind of cool. Really awesome team out there at Jayell Ranch. 10.01/10 Tristen, Gabe, Kevin, Todd and Brenon are the greatest

{This place is worth every penny! So much fun! You can spend the entire day here! Last time we did atv’s which was great! This time we did horseback riding with Yasir! He was an excellent guide and very patient. We also did ziplining which was a blast! The views are spectacular! The environment is clean and peaceful. The staff is friendly, everyone we encountered was kind. We felt safe and had an amazing time. There are lots of free things to do as well! Like a petting zoo, jumping pad, swings, slide, jenga, checkers. Such a great experience!

They are such beautiful and calm horses. Would highly recommend this place for horseback riding especially if it’s your first time.

{I had so much fun doing the ATV ride with Micah we had a large group and when I say we rode safe but still had a ton of fun. It even started to rain on us while we was going and we didn’t stop the movement at all. I will definitely be back to have this fun with Micah again

{I don’t know who trained this zipline manager, but I’m 99% sure it was a combination of Bear Grylls, Tony Robbins, and a bald eagle. From the moment we arrived, Jay was everywhere at once—checking lines, guiding guests, hyping people up like a motivational speaker with a harness. I’m not saying he can fly, but I swear I blinked and he was at the top of the tower, then suddenly at the bottom high-fiving a kid who just conquered his fear of heights. His team runs smoother than a Swiss watch dipped in WD-40. Safety briefing? Nailed it. Jokes? On point. Vibes? Immaculate. Jay didn’t just manage the ziplines—he orchestrated the whole experience like a ziplining Beethoven. By the end, I felt like I had just been guided through the sky by a zipline demigod. I tried to tip him in gold doubloons, but he humbly declined and asked for a review instead. So here it is. The man, the myth, the manager: Jay. 10/10 would zip again.

{WORTH EVERY PENNY!! Leslie at the front desk was extremely helpful with our group of 5. We arrived shortly after opening to make reservations for later in the afternoon. We did the combo for horseback riding, 3 zip lines, and atv/utv. Tyler was our guide for the horseback riding and he was an absolute sweetheart! Adam and Ethan were our guides on the zip line and they were a joy! Lastly, Michael was our tour for the four wheeling and he recommended some local bars for us (all of us are over 21) and he was a great conversationalist! Overall, the experience was wonderful! We ABSOLUTELY recommend this ranch!

{Perfect family day. Jaylee was amazing for our horseback riding. Our son was only six years old riding and we were nervous that he rode alone but she helped and also his horse Handsome to keep him safe and have a wonderful time. My daughter and I rode Detroit who made it so easy and enjoyable. My wife rode Tonka who also made for an amazing ride. After that Kevin and Nathan were wonderful for zip lining. Our kids are only 4 and 6 and they had the time of their lives. Mom and Dad did as well. Thank you for the memories and fun Jayell Ranch!

{Wow! What a great experience! The ladies in the office were so helpful. Black hair younger girl (18-21 ish) and Lainey both helped with millions of questions I had. They helped me find discounts and accommodations were offered for disabled child. There is lots of free stuff to keep everyone busy! Guides were all fun and the food shop was the only people who didn’t seem to love their job !

{Kevin and Jay are absolutely amazing people , they absolutely know the definition of going above and beyond. They stayed after the park closed so me and my family could finish zip lining. We will definitely be back. Thanks again guys !

{Our family (6 yo and 4 yo girls) had an amazing time at Jayell Ranch. We did the hour long horse back ride and our guide, Jaylee, was amazing! She was so friendly and great with our first time riders on the trail. Shout out to our great horses: Sy, Sorrell, and Gus! After our ride we enjoyed the area for another two hours. We explored the animals, slide, jump pad, and ended with the best hot chocolate ever! Thank you Jayell Ranch for making our first family horse riding an amazing memory!

{We visited Jayell today as a family with 2 young kids. We had an amazing time. Rebecca took us out on the horseback trail and was great talking and being patient with our kids. Then we went on the zip line course and had a blast with Yessan and Jay. We will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

They both deserve raises! They also need their own heater for their work station! It gets a little chilly on the lines and a nice heater would warm them right up!

{We went for our daughters 3rd birthday. We had an absolute blast. We seen the exotic animals and snow tubing. The gentlemen running the snow tubing,SLIDEDADDY, was very friendly and helpful with her. We will be coming back.

{Olivia was our guide for the horseback riding and she was great. There was a large part of our group (kids and adults), that had never ridden. The kids got scared a few times but she handled it calmy and quickly. Would definitely go back here

{We did a combo zipline/horseback ride.....jay and jaylee were amazing on the zipline.....olivia was amazing on horses.....and she had a difficult crew.. .and was super freindly and professional

{Craig, I like Sally the horse she was nice. Ben, I give mystery a five star review just because she was very nice she never went to eat grass or went off track. Sam, I like handsome he never fought like mystery he would go off track sometimes but it’s easy to get him back on track. Jenny, I loved scout he barely went for grass he never picked up a fight with handsome or Hoss. Satbanes were great.

{We have been to the ranch twice now. First to the bird and Abu experience and then to the snow tubing. Both were great!! We have such fun there. There is so much to do. We have to do a shout out to Slide Daddy for giving us a great experience on a very hot day. He is friendly, fun and friendly. He is great with kids. He gave Madalyn such a fun experience. He even got G-moo talked into going down with her once!

{My family and I recently visited and our experience was perfect. The staff was very helpful answering questions and they were so helpful. I don’t think I passed one staff that didn’t wave or give a smile. We decided to take the UTV/ATV tour and it was so much fun! Our tour guide, Dave, went above and beyond. He made sure everyone on the tour was safe and stayed on the trail. He took the time to talk to everyone on the tour and even took group photos for our tour group. I would highly recommend to visit you will leave with a smile on your face and great memories.

{We are from Indiana, and booked the ATV tour! We ended up being the only ones on this tour alongside our tour guide Jacob. Seriously, wow- he IS GREAT! Very informative, fun, and safe. He stopped several times to take pictures of me and my fiancé. We were a bit skeptical thinking it would be something “kiddish” and although id bring my two babies (3, and 1) along with no hesitation- it turned out to be so relaxing and fun. Seriously, Jacob- our tour guide was outstanding. He got to know us as individuals and was very kind! The whole set up of this place was clean and nice as well! We WILL be back SOON!!!!

{We took the guided horse back ride on June 2023. Our guide, Hailey, did an excellent job! Hailey faced quite a few unexpected challenges during the ride. Hailey handled those in a calm and professional manner. Hailey took what could have been a bad experience and made it enjoyable for all.

{Super family fun we enjoyed every minute of it. My favorite horse was Blue super sweet and a leader our guide Rebecca was so patient and friendly. The zip lining was exciting our 2 guides Jeffery and Kat are THE BEST I would recommend asking for them. Jeffery made us laugh from beginning to end and is literally the JALLEY RANCH TARZAN lol those 2 are a dynamic duo. So glad we came 10 out of 10

{Jayell Ranch was highly recommended and they certainly did not disappoint. We had a crew of 12 and they easily accommodated us on 3 UTV’s. The trails were amazing and let’s not forget the views. If safety and fun is a priority, then Jayell Ranch is the place. Wish we had more time as we really wanted to do some horseback riding. The prices were very affordable for all the activities they offer. The Hernandez Family will definitely be back.

{I took my two granddaughters to horseback ride. I really liked the fact that the young men whomade sure they were safely in the saddle and everything was good for them to ride. I was a little disappointed that it rained so hard, and I know I left acting upset and angry, but it was not anyone's fault at the ranch. I also thought the fries I ate from the cafe was delicious. {Just would like to say Thank You to EVERBODY at Jayell Ranch. It was a Great Experience but most of all it was more of a sentimental one for me. I was with a party of 4 when my horse came her name was SweetPea (symbolic for me) My mom passed in 2019 and a month after her passing her cat passed , the cats name was SWEETPEA...so for me to get Sweetpea out of all the horses there was SYMBOLIC and SweetPea was slow as HECK, me and SweetPea was the last of the pack just strolling along. {The staff at Jayell is great, but the wait times were unacceptable. Management needs to come up with a better system to cut down on the wait times. Were told 1 hour for Zip Line and 1.5 hours for Horse Ride. Took 2.5 hours for Zip Line, then still had to wait another 1.5 hours after that for Horse Ride. Again, staff was great, but clearly need some better Management.

{Our family of 4 went on the half course zip line tour today. It took about a half hour because we were with a nice small group. Our tour guides, Hayden & Brett were fantastic. We felt completely comfortable and safe. And they both had a good sense of humor! The kids loved it. We would definitely recommend Jayell Ranch!

{We did the ATV and 6 Zipline combo and had a blast. The ATV course was a blast and the guides were helpful. We had a fun down of how everything was going to go which was nice to prepare for it. The Ziplines got increasingly longer and faster. The best part about our zipline experience had to be our guides Joey and Dakota. Both were very personable and great to be around. Would definitely recommend coming and if you can manage to get Joey as a guide you’ll have a blast.

We were a little worried about our special needs daughter , but she did great and led the way! Grace, our guide, was wonderful with her. We will definitely visit again when we come back to Tennessee! {Our first trip to TN and we visited Jayell on our last day. We did the horseback riding and the zip line. It was great! We wished we would have gone earlier in the week so we could plan a repeat visit before our vacation was over. Our tour guides Kevin and Joey on the zip line and David on the horses were great ! Our first time doing zip lines anywhere and we felt very comfortable and at ease doing everything. We have already put Jayell on the rerun trip to TN list for our next vacation. {We had a Great time!!! We think it would be really awesome if it was muddier!!! The guides on the ATV and UTV rides do a great job and always make sure that everybody is staying in the line and will even stop to wait on others that fall behind. The train where you see the birds and baby capuchin monkey is awesome as well. The birds will land on you and the baby capuchin monkey will climb and walk all over you and eat out of your hands. We didn’t get to do the horse ride because we had a 2 year old in our bunch that we didn’t think would stay still for a 1 hour horseback ride, but we are already talking about going back and doing that one vacation Lord willing!!!

{We absolutely had a wonderful time at Jayell Farms. It rained a little bit that morning and the AFV trails had a few puddles on it which made it even more fun! All the people who work there were very friendly and helpful. The place is full of fun seating so can just chill for a little bit. Great family place and the ATV riding was awesome!

{My family was so excited to on ATV/UTV and do the zip lines, but me being more reserved, I planned on sitting back and watching. Boy was I wrong! I not only enjoyed the ATV/UTV ride thoroughly, and even asked for more!!!, but also I did my first three zip lines ever! It was my first time and definitely won’t be my last, thanks to the awesome staff at the park, especially the zip lines! Those guys know what they’re doing! We can’t wait to come back! My entire family, ages 15 through 49, had the best afternoon and it’s really made our vacation here so far! See you next time !!

{The cabins are a great place to stay very local to everything with in a 10 minute drive. The cabins sit up on a hill side and it’s very quite and cozy. I would recommend anybody to give them a try and take advantage of the ranch it’s self which is right around the corner can’t thank you enough for the great place to stay

{My whole family loved our experience at Jayell Ranch. We ziplined and road horses and loved everything about it. The land is beautiful and the people were great. We listened to live music and enjoyed the scenery while we waited for our turn on the horses. I would love to go back on our next visit.

{I visited several years ago and loved this place. My granddaughter who is 12, wanted to go horseback riding on our girls get-away, last week 4/24 so I absolutely looked this place up. She has never been on a horse before. There was no wait. However, there was one group of 3 in front of us, then 2 other groups came, which made for 14 of us. My granddaughter and I were unable to hear anything the guide was trying to tell us. I personally think they should have split us up, it wasn't crowded. The next ride going out had 4, including the guide. Overall, she loved the experience.

{There are so many good things to talk about, I don’t know where to start! Our family of 4, kids ages 9 and 12 did the Zip line and Horseback riding. The zip line crews were SO helpful and reassuring!! They definitely added to the fun!!! Lloyd was the best at explaining how to handle the horses!! Brandon was a great guide! My kids held baby ducklings and brushed goats at the free petting zoo. GO! It’s a lot of fun!!

{I went horseback riding and had had a great time. I was traveling by myself however, Lloyd and Tasha made me feel like I was apart of the family. Lloyd helped me get set up and introduced me to Jackie Chan, the beautiful and sweet horse I had the pleasure to ride. Tasha was my guide and talked to me the whole time, asking me questions and telling me stories. I had a great time and hope to return again!

{Brandon made our experience smooth and told some great stories! Horses were cooperative except a few hiccups, but those are expected and handled expertly! Lloyd’s instructions were clear and concise, and well used. It was awesome to see the staff’s connect-ability with both the riders and horses!

{This is a must do!!! My husband and I went today with the intentions of only going to see Abu. While we got to hold and play with Abu, the staff up to this point was so sweet that we decided to choose something else to do while there. We decided on horseback riding and zip lining! The horseback riding was nice and relaxing and the horses are well trained on their trek. Abu is the cutest little thing I’ve ever seen!!! The young lady that guides us was very sweet and knowledgeable about Abu and the birds. I’m sorry, I can not remember her name! Zip lining is something I never thought of doing but boy am I glad I did!! We chose the 6 zip and it was simply amazing!! John and Peyton were amazing as well!!! We plan on bringing the kids and grandchildren back at some point and we will do this again! It’s worth every penny!!

{First visit was in July 2021, with a 5hr wait time and then a refund. We didn’t get a chance to do any activities. So, I suggest you call and ask about the busy season before hand. Second visit was December 2021 (week before Christmas). We were the only group there! No wait time. Really friendly and funny staff all around. I checked two activities off of my bucket list here! With 15 people in our group, we decided to do the ATV/3Zip/Horseback Riding package. Well worth it! We’ll be back! ??

{We absolutely loved jayell ranch! We did the horseback riding, monkey encounter, and zip lining. All the guides were super nice and helpful. We enjoyed everything from the beautiful views while horseback riding to getting pick pocketed by Abu the monkey to conquering fears on the zip line. We wish we would have done the full zip line tour we will definitely be going back.

{Rode ATVs on a crisp Saturday afternoon at Jayell Ranch and loved it! Our guide Nick was super nice and took great photos of us. The property was beautiful and clean with so many things to do for younger children. We felt sorry for Nick when other members of our group were rude and tried to damage the equipment but he handled it well. Such a shame that rude inconsiderate people cannot control themselves when the venue asks that there is no profanity or smoking. Great family destination!

I have never been horse back riding and it was truly an amazing experience and Blackjack was a sweetheart! The atv trail was so much fun and especially riding through the mud! {I wanted to write a review because this was such a great experience for a 3 year old and 1 year old. I also wanted to take time to thank a sweetheart of a horse, John Wayne. I have ridden horses forever but mot recently. I love them! Veda my 3 year old niece had her first horse riding experience on John Wayne. It may have appeared to those around us that he was not very cooperative but it was exacting the opposite. Veda was very wiggly and moving not only her legs but looking backwards at the other riders and "pulling sometimes on the reins (not on purpose)". John Wayne (the horse) was taking it all in stride and attempting to "figure out all sorts of conflicting commands and was just so patient with it all." I don't think I have ever seen a more patient horse or so well trained one! Please be sure to put this information on his records if this is ever needed for how well behaved he is! Next, both kids loved. loved the monkey and the birds and all the other farm animals as well. What a great way to enjoy the outdoors and have fun too! P.S. {Absolute great experience. We did the zipline, horseback riding and utv. All of our guides were great and never once did we feel unsafe. This was our first time visit The Smoky Mountains. And happened to find and go to Jayell ranch because you didn't need reservations for anything. And boy were we not disappointed. We actually went back a couple days layer to do the monkey and bird encounter. Awesome experience!!

{We were here last in 2016 and did the full zip course. OMG IT WAS SO EXCITING!!!!! Never thought I'd love it as much as I did! Fast forward to 7-5-2021...We are back today and gonna zip the full course again! WE CAN NOT WAIT!! That's what I've been waiting for on this trip the most. Everything will pale in comparison.

{The staff at jayell ranch are great, very knowledgeable with the events they have. My kids did the zip line and were happy with the staff who ran the lines. My wife and I did the horse back riding, the staff made sure that my wife who never has been on a horse that the horse was well versed in people who never rode before and stayed in line. The staff also made sure she knew how to use the reins properly, and the guide was awesome. After that we took the train tour of the parrot and monkey enclosed. The way we thought was we would be outside looking in but the staff brought us in to let us play with the monkey aboo. Unfortunately the first day we had a 4 hour wait for 15 of us .. we decided to go back early the next day and try again.. We started with a horseback ride with Ed who was amazing !! Feeling very nervous being on a horse for the first time and in the pouring rain, Ed made my fears go away easily with his experience and calming demeanor..The horses were so friendly and gave me a great first time experience.. Ed you Rock! Then we went to the ATV’s .. we were greeted by Andrew who was very friendly and explained all the rules ( and he put our drenched sweatshirts in the sun to dry while we were on the ATV’s ????) Chad was our guide who was a great leader through the trails. He took his time taking pictures for the guests and made our trip very fun ! Overall amazing experience! {This was my families first trip to Gatlinburg and we found a coupon for the ranch. We all really enjoyed the zip lines and horse back riding. We missed the last train to go see the monkey and exotic birds but were allowed to come the next morning. Great hospitality from all the workers. We will be returning here the next time we are in town.

{We have been coming here for horseback riding since my daughter was 4. She is now 11. We come to Pigeon Forge several times a year just to come here. This is one of our favorite places to visit. Everyone is always so nice, and it’s always fun.

{The staff here - all the way from the check-in to all the activities - were as sweet as could be and super friendly!! The horse ride was beautiful - yes muddy but it’s been raining so that’s expected! The horses are sweet and well taken care of! Our horses were Bon Jovi & Charlie! I was a beginner and Charlie was the best horse for me! They constantly check up on you and make sure you’re okay! The prices are phenomenal! Only great things to say about this ranch!! I highly recommend!!

{My group decided to do it all while visiting Jayell Ranch and we were not disappointed. All staff members were really nice and outgoing. The horseback ride was definitely one to remember and lots of fun. Nick and Andrew was great with helping us with the ATV and that ride was great. But be prepared for a muddy ride.

{I'm sorry if I spell names wrong, but OMG!!! Christian and I fell in love with Krista, Savanah and the gentleman who rides Blue, but let Krista borrow for our guide. Christian is 9 and rode Scout. He made a bond with Scout and now can't wait to go back. I had the honor of riding Amber. She was super gentle and didn't seem mad I had us out in the snow (1/11/21). Amazing guide, amazing horses, and an amazing experience. We will be back!!

{I went in with my girl and 4 other friends recommended by a good friend of mine. The ride was super fun to say the least. We got couple of pictures taken by our guide named Chad, super cool dude. After the pictures, we went backwards the same trail which at that point I though the ride was over, so a plus there. That was a rainy day so needless to say we got muddy, also thanks to the ATV which were in really good shape. Overall an unforgettable experience I am looking forward to do again!!

Starting with ASHLEY at the payment station to Andrew who checked us in and went over safety rules for the ATV!(QUAD) to SETH our guide. Everyone was FRIENDLY AND COURTOUES!!! The Trails were AWESOME! We were a group of 7 who enjoyed every minute of the Experience!! As Long as you do what they tell you, you will be Fine! I did have concerns about losing the $200 waiver but, ASHLEY explained as long as you listen and don't do stupid things you don't have to worry about it! You can't go wrong here!! GREAT Pricing!! lots to do!! We will definitely come back!! Thanks! Jayell!!! Best Christmas present ever!!

{Our family of 5 enjoyed the ATVs, Horseback Riding & Ziplines. Based on other reviews, we completed online waivers prior, arrived ~20 minutes before opening and therefore missed the wait times. We signed in for each adventure as advised after getting our wristbands. Boys teen & pre-teen ages couldn’t pick a favorite as they loved all! Very friendly staff, cozy ranch feel & one of few places that allowed kids aged 12 to drive the ATV. It was safe & guided. Highly recommend!

{My fiancé and I went to Jayell Ranch the last day of our vacation I’m so sad we waiting till the last day because if we would have been there day one we would have been there everyday! We went on the horse back riding and the ATV ride! Walking up you register on iPads which was very easy and quick! Waiting in line to pay and get our wristbands there was adorable pigs, guinea pigs, and baby chickens to hang out with! First we went and signed in for the horse back riding! We had kinda a bigger group but the instructor was beyond friendly and always check up to make sure you were having a good time! The views were unbelievable! Next was the ATV ride it was the funniest part of our trip! Our instructor was Chad and I can’t say enough nice things about him! He took us down all the trails and to the most beautiful lookout where he was nice enough to get our picture! After we got back we got to handout by the fire pit that had the cutest octagon of swinging chairs! We wish we could have done the zip line, the hill slide, feed the goats, 4 wheeling and so much more! We will definitely be back!

{The horseback riding was incredible! I had the beautiful horse named Sundance and she is very well trained. Our tour guide Pops was super fun to talk to and always checked back on us to make sure the group was doing okay. The views were beautiful and even saw views from North Carolina! Very enjoyable experience!

{I took my grand daughter for her 5 th birthday. She loves animals so we went horseback riding for her first time. She was helped to feel very confident and Scout was a fantastic match. She was able to ride like she had been doing it for years. I rode Goldie that was gentle and sweet. Our guide, Savanah was super fantastic. My grand daughter begged to go back the next day! We will definitely go back. Highly recommend it.

{We had a great experience on the zip lines yesterday aug 16. Family of 4 with a nervous 10 year old and an excitement junkie. Our guides were great at calming his fears and providing a challenge for the entire family. We followed it up with a horseback ride. The horses were well taken care of and provided a nice scenic ride. Love that we were able to cross off a couple items in a single location.

{This was so much fun!! They told us the wait would be 2-3 hours long so we purchased our tickets left and ate and came back!! Our tour guide was fantastic I wish I knew his name but I promise you it’s worth the wait!!

{It’s a great spot but there must be a better way to do crowd control Tuesday morning we arrived at 9:30 am we were there 3 hours and did 3 quick zips and still had a 2 hour wait to horse ride it can be confusing you wait in line 4 different times if you go plan on the day

{My kids and I did the horseback riding which was a lot of fun. Wanted to do more but very long wait time for the atv. In all we still loved it and the scenery was so pretty and our guide was great. Like I said plan for it to be an all day thing.

{Our family vacation in Tennessee was complete with our wonderful time at this ranch. 15 grandkids from 2-14 and there was plenty for all of them. We spent about 6 hours here. From UTV tour, zip lining, and horseback riding - something for all! We will definitely return when we visit Tennessee again.

{We had a great time! Had a timid 7 year old riding with us and her horse (Copenhagen) was perfect for her (good job matching her with a kind horse!). My husband is considered a “big guy” (6’6 and 279) and John Wayne (horse) handled having him ride him wonderfully. I had Scout and he was great too! Our guide continuously checked in with all riders, but not to the annoying point. He exhibited the correct amount of concern for our safety. Would totally come back!

{We had a group of 5 couples doing ATV Sunday 01/19/2020. Pops was an amazing instructor. He did a great job ensuring the entire group was safe all while having a great time. The trails were amazing, I highly recommend! Ask for Pops he will not disappoint!

We went to Five Oaks and they didn’t have a time slot available and they sent us to Jayell Ranch. After seeing both facilities, we are so glad they did!

{We went, 1/08/2020. My parents, hubs and myself. We had such a great time! The staff here was great, so inviting, nice and cut ups! We did the horseback ride (I rode Snow, and she was perfect for me. She had to take a couple potty breaks, didnt want to be tied up with the other horses, just kinda did her own thing and I giggled so much, bringing up the rear with her. She was perfectly matched with me) we also did the 6 zip lines and I highly recommend doing all 6! This was my first time doing this and I had an absolutely great time! Thank y’all for a great time!

{Absolutely LOVED riding with them today!! Our guide was absolutely amazing and the horses were absolutely awesome!! I am a timid rider and my horse Dan was awesome and took good care of me. My sister and 2 yr old rode double on Haus and he was a total gem. My mom who has never rode got to ride Tonka and he as well was good as gold. I highly recommend them!! Amazing experience!!! {This is a great family owned ranch. The horses were beautiful and well taken care of. Our guide Harold was great. He was fun, engaging and took great care of my 8 year old niece who had never ridden before. The horses were all great. Our family had an enjoyable time even though neither of us had experience riding. The zip lines were also a lot of fun. Great time altogether.

{For a couple of first timers, we really enjoyed the workers, the horses (especially Tonka and Haus), the tour and ourselves. Basically, we enjoyed the entire experience. After the tour, Ben's first comment was "everyone is so pleasant". I am telling everyone I know about the experience and have already recommended it to one of our friends. We will be back in May and will definitely do this again. Ben would like to also do the ziplines, but I think I can talk him in to the ATV rides instead. 😉 Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend the ranch to anyone. {Excellent trail ride with RC as our guide. It was my girls first horseback/trail ride and my 6yo was so comfortable on Shiloh, she left feeling so confident! The horses were great and the staff friendly and helpful. Also the best price anywhere around for a kid doubling with an adult ($10 vs $45!). We will be back!

{Hadn't been on a horse for over 40 years. Our guide Wayne was very patient. There were just three of us on our trail ride as we got there early. Truly relaxing ride with plenty of chat between us and Wayne. I would come back here in a heartbeat. Staff were helpful and friendly from start to finish.

{I absolutely loved riding the trail at Jayell Ranch!! My friends and I came out 09/10/19 to go horseback back riding. It had been a while since any of us rode but the guides are wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about the horses and their personalities. JC(?), our guide made the ride a great experience. I rode Midnight, a gorgeous Tennessee Walker and he's the best. I absolutely recommend this ranch and hope to come back soon.

{My two daughters and I had a great time on the Ziplines. Guides were friendly and fun. Water was provided at every other zip. I loved the no reservations because we just showed up when we were ready. I got photos of us ziplining for a reasonable price. I have two complaints. The zipling guides make server’s wages which I wouldn’t know unless the guides told me. Why would I think that they make server’s wages? They are not servers. After paying over $160 for the three of us to go ziplining, I had to tip the guides or else they wouldn’t make any money. The guides are responsible for the patron’s safety. I would think you would want to pay them a decent wage. Second complaint is that a patron in our zipling group was clearly over the weight limit by several pounds. My husband didn’t join us because he is about ten pounds over the 275 weight limit which is clearly marked on the website and when you walk up to sign the waiver and pay. Why have rules if you are not going to follow them? The over the weight limit patron went down all zips without any problems which means my husband could have joined us. Overall, we had a great time. Would definitely recommend this place.

{Done all 6 Ziplines. It was so much fun. Guides AJ and Bananas where the best. So friendly and helpful not to mention funny. If you’re looking for a Great time then this is the place.

{I have issues with walking, the staff was amazing at helping get to the places I needed to go so I could participate with my family. RC and Nathan where so helpful. RC was amazing with helping me get on the horse (Oreo) & took the time to make sure that I was comfortable and safe.Some may say the prices are a little high. But, you get a great experience for your money. This is a definitely a must do family activity! 5 stars from us!!

{We visited yesterday and it immediately became the highlight of our vacation! Our horses were sweet and our guide, Sam was great! He took the time to talk to my son to make sure he knew how to control his horse and stay safe. He joked with him and made us all comfortable. We had a great ride! I took 4 teens and an 8 year old and they were still talking about this experience when we went to bed last night. We will definitely be back!

{Last September my father, myself, and my 3 year old daughter went here. I've done other stables but this one is amazing. Not only was the tour guide knowledgeable, but the visit was beautiful! My daughter still talks about "her" horse Soro that she and grandpa rode together. We'll be back in October!

{Overall we had a good experience! Our tour guide was very pleasant and nice. We were able to do a private ride with just our family. Although we didn’t get to go on the original trail due to rain earlier in the week, we were still pleased by our tour. Everyone we encountered were very hospitable.

{First off, the website is very helpful with signing the paperwork ahead of time to save a few minutes, plus you get $5 off and save trees! My son did the ziplining first, and Sunshine was amazing with him. He rode all 6 ziplines and had the biggest smile! My daughter rode the horses, and Sam was extremely caring and sweet with her to calm her down when she was a bit frightened. The whole staff at Jayell have huge smiles, and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. I suggest getting there early like we did so it isn't as crowded. Driving up the hill to park can make you a bit nervous with the gravel, but we made it just fine in my small SUV. Definitely give it a try, you won't regret it!!

{My Husband and I came here while celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary 3 years ago 🙂 It was very fun and we've been wanting to come back and have been recommending this place to everyone we know visiting Tennessee. We are coming back next month and are super excited.

{The staff at check-in were super friendly. We went horseback riding and the guides were awesome! They made sure we were comfortable on the horses and explained how to direct the horses along the path, so if you're not an experienced rider you should feel very comfortable when you leave the stable. Sam was our guide, and was great! He made sure we were ok and helped if anyone needed it! We will definitely be back & highly recommend Jayell Ranch!

{My family rode the 4 wheelers this morning and had a great time. We got there around 9:15am and we signed a waiver before we got there so there was no line and the process was easy. Our guide Romando was friendly and experienced and explained everything we needed to know to have a fun and safe time.

{The staff at jayells is great! Blake and chopo were our zipline guides and they were excellent! The horseback ride was a lot of fun too. The horses are so sweet and trained well. The ATV was so hot and Dusty and for the place having 250 acres they could of spread it out better that the horseback rides don't cross paths with the ATVs, we had to shut off ATVs several times and bake in sun. It's a lot to do all in 1 day, I'd recommend splitting it up so you can enjoy each activity more.

{We did the horse and atv combo was my girls first time on atv and she loved it!!! Wish it could have been a faster ride as in speed. The horses were good as well we had a experienced rider with us and he gave the ride a thumbs up. I would go back again for sure...also the zip lines looked long and fast.

{We loved Jayell Ranch, because we had so much fun. Jessie took us on the ATV and UTV tour, and was very helpful. He even stopped to take our family picture. It's rare that we are all in one picture together. We were able to make so many family memories. We liked the muddy trails. Then, Megan took us on the horseback riding trails. She did great. I had a special needs daughter that they were very cautious with, and it put this mama at ease. She rode Trigger that was very calm for her. Also my five year old rode with her dad. Surprisingly, this was my first time ever riding a horse as well. I didn't have any issues. Now, Megan got off to help some of the others, and well her horse left, so she walked the entire trip back...many kudos for her. Thanks to all those at Jayell Ranch that made all 3 of my daughters enjoy their day!!!

{The experience here was AMAZING. The views are beautiful but the staff is what really made our trip awesome. So sweet & kind! Made us feel completely safe. Our 6 year old son loved it so much he wanted to be first down the ziplines. If you are looking for a great place to go ziplining and it be kid friendly then look no further!!!

{Jayell ranch is great! My husband and I went horseback riding with our four kids and we had a great time. They have a small petting zoo for the kids along with a little zip line/playground for while you’re waiting. The horseback ride was an hour and the guide was great! Our guide’s name was Kristen.

{I’m a bigger girl, and I was really worried about the experience for that reason. But everyone was nothing but kind! And the horse I rode was strong and sure-footed. Our guide Adam was amazing, and the trail is muddy and the perfect length. It was definitely worth the money and the little bit of a wait.

{Easter Sunday was a blast at Jayell . Was not disappointed Jess was fabulous with the youngest boy he came off the horse like he was a cowboy n won’t stop talking about his horse. Ernie was amazing on the ATV ride he made our experience! n the zip line the only regret we have is we only did the 3 should of def did the 6 lines sorry can’t remember our 2 guides names but they made it a great experience too. Got to give Jayell a ???? n to all the hard workers that make your visit the best

{My son and I went on the ATV ride with Ernie as our guide. He was awesome!!! If you think its expensive, it's worth every penny! The experience is awesome but Ernie made the experience, one of a lifetime. Great Times!!

{I would definitely recommend Jayell Ranch to family and friends because of Ernie. Ernie went above and beyond what we expected. I don't have much to say about Jayell Ranch as a whole except for the attractions it offers is dynamic, but Ernie (our guide) made it All worth it on the ATV tour. The guys that guided us on the Aipline was also family, friendly oriented also.The guys were very patient and answered any questions we had, and also very articulate with the instructions that we were given. My family (of 8) will definitely return for more excitement at Jayell's Ranch.

{Ernest was our guide. Very professional and did a great job on the tour. Trails give you a good variety of open field to woods and tight turns. If your a beginner to a experienced rider you will have a great time on the trails.

{We had a group of eight 24 year old’s on the ATV trails who could ride. It was raining that day and muddy which made the course trails more challenging. However, I didn’t take my ATV out of 2nd gear because our tour guide went painfully slow, even with wet/muddy trails. I was under the impression we were going to ride and not just sightsee.

{Our ATV croup had ana amazing time yesterday with our guide Jessie. It had rained a lot so safety was of the utmost importance. After Jessie had gone over all the do’s and donts and after he saw how each one of us handled the ATVs we were able to loosen up a bit and we had a blast. We got to go through some pretty exciting terrain including some deep water and steep inclines. It was the best hour we spent. We really got our money’s worth!! Thanks Jessie for an excellent ride!!!

{My wife and I did horseback riding and zip line and both were awesome experience with a lot of fun. We were a little reluctant about zip line but so happy we did it. Jason was our horseback riding tour guide and he was funny and entertaining. Horses were very friendly and easy to ride. The entire staff was great. We will definitely come back.

{Jayell Ranch was a pretty neat place. However I suggest going early.. we got there around 11 and the wait times for horseback riding and ziplining were hours! The concession was nice and the outside play areas and animals were cool... Loved sitting in the swings around the fire pit! One more thing I would suggest for Jayell Ranch to invest in is an intercom system so that the guides can call your number and you can actually hear them.. we had to constantly keep checking to see when it was our turn! But I do recommend for family fun!

{Our ATV host was Ernie. He was a Florida boy like us and gave us one hell of an ATV experience! Top notch excitement and hospitality. Then we Ziplined with Collin and Brantley. Great bunch of boys! Even though I was scared to death they were awesome and helped me through my “bucket list “ experience. I would encourage anyone to try them first! Class act all the way!

{Highly recommended. We drove Honda Rancher 4 wheelers. For an hour we rode on 4 trails and they were a blast. The folks are professional and they quickly determine your skill level and gauge your trail to your riding capability. For only reasonable drivers, we had a surprisingly challenging ride. We drove through deep ruts, over tree roots, up and down steep inclines, through mud, just solid fun. Ask for Pops, he was really great to ride with keeping everyone in the group together. Nice folks.

{We just recently went on a trail ride at Jayell ranch with our six kids, even though we rode in the rain it was well worth it!! The guide was helpful and friendly along with the rest of the staff.. the horses they put us on were great super sweet. We will definitely come again!

{I just wanted to say that my family and I really appreciate the wonderful experience that we were given today at the ranch. Our oldest daughter(8 years old) has been dying to ride a horse so we decided to let her live her dream on this trip to the smokies. We decided on Jaylee ranch mainly because of the great reviews and the ranch did not disappoint. However I would have to say that the best part of the ride, day, trip, and maybe even the best experience with people I have ever been a part of, would have to have been when the ride began. We had just all been untied and started to head for the trail when my daughter became terrified because the guides horse was acting a little crazy. My first thought was we haven’t even left the stable and she is not going to ride the horse. This is when the wonderful happened. The guide, named Adam, jump off of the crazy horse gave him to another ranch hand and proceeded to guide my daughters horse the entire Trailby foot. And might I add that the trail was up and down and covered in 6 niche plus of mud. This made my daughters whole trip and showed the rest of us that there are still good peopl in this world. Thanks for the great memories and if you are on the fence about this place give it a try it is wonderful. Thanks again Adam!!!!!!

{We were here Sat. Jan 26th 2019. It was freezing cold but nothing was going to stop my grandchildren from riding the horses. We had a wonderful time...the guide was great as well as the lady that helped him. We live feeded it on facebook and we WILL be back. Next time, we're adding the zip lines. Just too cold this time!

{We had a blast on the ATV it's not what we expected it's a lot more with hills and lots of mud that's the fun part and we seen deer as well and beautiful views of the smokey mountains all the staff on the ATV was very nice and knowledgeable Nick checked out breaks before we left and Josh took us on the trail well worth the money. {We did the ATV trail ride and it was great..it’s not just a drive in a line real slow and then come back..it’s hills and valleys and you actually go through some rough stuff..the guide was real chill and helped everybody out if they got stuck in a mud hole..he didn’t try and rush or act aggravated..got to see some pretty scenery and saw some deers crossing in front of us..it’s well worth the money..

{Took the boys yesterday 15 and 18 they had a blast. Started out thinking it would be slow and boring but it’s not! The trail is great and at times as a mom scary but was well worth it! Nick our guide was great and staff very friendly.

{During our family 5 day vacation, we decided to check this place out! Our family (13 of us, aged 2 - 55) spent a full morning there doing various activities, some of us went horseback riding, others did 4-wheelers, and my husband and I did the zip lines. Had so much fun, we went back two days later, and we all did the zip lines and ATV rides. The staff was so friendly, and if you do the Zip Lining - say HI to Josh (guide) for us! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND stopping here on your vacation.

{We loved the horseback riding and zip-lining experience, and our guides were amazing. They do a wonderful job with their information and safety checks, and they love to chat. But the website advertises that it is completely 100% handicap accessible and it is in no way accessible. The bathrooms have no bars, the parking lot is awful for normal cars (so forget trying to get a handicap van in there), the walkways are all sloped and not very flat or there's stairs to everything, and there is no way for anyone that would transfer to even get to anywhere except maybe the counter where you buy tickets and only if you have a good motorized chair. Do not try a scooter here or a manual chair. You will not make it, and you'll more than likely tip. There's also the fact that you can't go to the bathroom while you're there (even as a spectator) because it's not accessible at all.

{We went for horse back riding today . Colorado , our guide was excellent ! He made it a lot of fun for my teen girls and the scenery was beautiful! Loved the goats and pigs too! Definitely will return on our next visit .

{After waiting an hour and a half, we had no idea that forty five minutes of our ride would be in deep mud. Wish we would have been warned that the trails had extreme mud and we would have mud soaked shoes and mud up to our necks from the splashing. The staff was wonderful and friendly and we tipped largely because we really enjoyed Kinsey. Just beware, you need not to have an agenda and you can enjoy the day at the ranch.

{My granddaughter and I went to Jayell because she wanted to Zipline and ride a horse! I chose Jayell because they do little kids! Perfect choice! They were great and caring to her and me. She ziplined 3,000ft combined! She has never done it before! We went trail riding next on her own horse. Couldnt have asked for more fun! I highly recommend them. Staff is GREAT!

{My family and I went in the fall, we wanted to go horseback riding in the mountains unfortunately in the morning and early afternoon it rained. After it was done raining we called around and this was the only stable open. LUCKY FOR US!! Their hired helped were very well informed the horses were well kept and sure footed. I was SO happy to get the paint horse I wanted!! The guide was very helpful in how to go up and down the slick hills. It was my mothers first time riding a horse and she was not too excited when we got started, but the guide was very reassuring by giving her a well mannered horse, and kept checking on her to make sure she was comfortable. The ride was very scenic, and it was longer then expected. (which I LOVED!) After horseback riding we got to go zip-lining it was SO awesome! Even though they were about to close they still allowed us to enjoy the zip-lines without rushing us out. All of the staff was GREAT! I would definitely recommend this place! You will not be disappointed:)

{We came in the winter to get away from the normally of life and set out to find adventure for a family of five in the smoky mountains, we sign up for all six zip lines and the horseback ride as well! We had the pleasure of James, Steve and the new guy on the zip lines! And you can tell those men enjoy their jobs and like to have a good time! It was perfect for us! Four out of five of us zipped line before hand. Jayell ranch let you take your camera to document your trip! We didn’t know that so after we got back they let us wait to get out of the gear for photos! They worked well with my daughter who was afraid of it a bit. On the horses Adam did very well in keeping the younger kids relaxed and picking good horses for each of us! We see deer up close and even though my horse didn’t care for them, I loved my time on this little ranch! Thank you!

{Three generations of family travelled to Pigeon Forge for a pre-Thanksgiving vacation. While there, my family and my brother's family enjoyed a day at Jayell Ranch riding the ATV trails. Our group consisted of 4 adults and 3 teens with varied riding experience. We found the trails to be PERFECT for our group. Not too slow but not too intimidating. Our guide was great and helped us avoid the "poo bogs" (they look like mud puddles that would be fun to ride through, but they're filled with stench from the horses making pit stops along the trail). We got GREAT family pictures mid-way through the ride and even saw some wildlife on the trails as we rode through the woods. Before and after our ride, we had just as much fun playing corn hole, swinging on the old-fashioned tree swings, playing pumpkin checkers, tetherball, and posing for MORE family pics anywhere and everywhere. Each and every staff member was courteous and dedicated to making our experience a positive one. We highly recommend Jayell Ranch for a day of family fun. There's plenty to do there for all ages. Check it out...you won't regret it!

{We wanted to ride horses and ATV. We called all over town and this ranch had everything in one location. Also had a combo arm band where we got to ride horses and ATV at a discount. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Also had a professional photographer taking pictures that we where glad to buy. We had a great time here. We will be coming back when we go to Pigeon Forge next. {I had a great I'm ziplining and horseback riding. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very safety conscious. I highly recommend this adventure. However, I do not think children under 8 should horseback riding, nor should kids under 10 zipline.

{The Jayellranch is a awesome place. The atmosphere is so pleasant and everyone is always really nice. The horses are beautiful. If you have to wait to ride your horse.. they have plenty of stuff to keep you entertained while you wait. The cowboys & cowgirls bathroom is really clean. We love this place. That’s why we always return.

{Second time visitng. Mini and fresh were both fun and humorous guides on the zip lines. Jordan on the horseback ride made it seem like we were all just old friends catching up again. Wonderful time. Will visit again.

{My daughter n law, two granddaughters 7 and 3 and my self 58 year old grandmother just returned from a horseback riding experience at Jayell Ranch. I could not have been more pleased with our experience. Jordan was our guide and was great! The horses were super gentle and beautiful! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

{My wife and I wanted to do something active for the day and, thankfully, found Jayell Ranch online. They are close to "the strip" which made it very easy. We decided to go all out and get a bundle. We went back to our hotel (only 9 minutes of dirty mess in the car!) tired from an afternoon of fun and adventure. We did ATV, zip line and horses. It was a solid 5 hours (wish I had taken snacks and drinks). Everything was fun, safe and engaging. Staff was happy and energetic. The other guests were mostly polite and happy as well. A few important notes: Start early and be patient. By 1:00, people started pouring in and the activities seemed to begin when the group was full, not when the clock hit the magic time. There are limited guides and each adventures takes about an hour. You might have to wait 30+ minutes if the 3rd group just left. Bring a cooler/lunch if you are doing a bundle. Use the wait to relax, power back up and enjoy the ranch atmosphere. Horses seemed to be the busiest, so check there before doing something else. Tipping - There are signs up everywhere. It is brought up before adventures set out. They do a really great job. I do wish I had known ahead of time (I only took ID and CC). Dirty - It is OUTDOOR ADVENTURES. Have the right expectations. You will get dirty. Physical - Again, OUTDOOR ADVENTURES. You will have to walk up and down hills, stand for extended periods and various other things that might be challenging for some people. {While vacationing in Tennessee, we came to Jeyall for horseback riding. We originally went to a different location and were turned away because my son who has downs was shy and wasn't communicating with them. So we came here and it was a whole different(wonderful) experience. Everyone we spoke with was friendly and ready to make our experience enjoyable. They made him comfortable before he got on the horse and were just being friendly with him. He had a great time horseback riding. They even have horses for kids that are autistic or afraid to go horseback riding. Thank you again for a wonderful time.. You guys are all amazing.

{We visited and had an absolute great time. Cowboy Troy was great with our youngest (7) and was back and forth ribbing our oldest (12). The kids as well as Mom and Dad loved the Horse ride, and the views during the ride were great! It was our family's first time on ziplines and we had great guides. They were great to interact with, fun conversation and always safety first. Our visit to the ranch was a total blast, we would recommend this destination to anyone visiting the area.

{We were a family of four visiting from Philadelphia. On Sunday we ventured to your ranch as our seven year old really wanted to horseback ride. The rest of us signed on with trepidation. While only two minutes into the ride, one of the horses was spooked and took off with a young girl. Sam and Adam handled the situation beautifully and assured those of us ready to turn around and call it a day that everything would be okay. We contuinued on and Sam stepped up to the plate and walked next to my oldest daughters (11) horse the entire four miles in order to assure her all would be well. It really was a beautiful ride and the staff was extremely responsible. By far, however, we are fans of Sam and her southern charm. The girl knows how to handle horses, handle her male colleagues and give visitors a wonderful tour. Give the girl a raise! She deserved it that day.

{2 seniors with 9 & 10 y/o grandsons - on this trip we wanted to find several things the boys had never done before. Jayell offered both horseback riding and ziplines. Staff were super friendly, helpful and professional and the boys had such fun! Zip equipment is well maintained; the horses healthy, groomed, and well-trained for the ride. One thing: the riding is basically one horse following the next in a long line. IOW, the horse runs the show unless it slows down, speeds up, or leaves the line. You just sit there. So don't "argue" with the horse by reining them (not even if you've been riding all your life). But the ride thru the woods and up is lovely, and you're going to enjoy it anyway. Would go back, but next time will do all six ziplines! Thank you, Jayell Ranch!

{We took our kids to Jayell Ranch for their first real Zip line and outdoor horseback riding experience. From the time we got there to the time we left the people kept us laughing and even in the rain, we had a great time. Adam and Ben were awesome on the Zip line. When we went to ride the horses Mike (I think that's his name??) warned us the horses may slip some since the trail was so muddy and wet and our 8 year old decided there was no way she was getting on the horse. He was so kind and patient with her and finally convinced her to just sit on his horse, Cornbread, so I could get a picture. She agreed to sit on it, then Adam said he would stay with her along the entire trail so she wouldn't be afraid and she agreed to go. She went, Adam stayed with her, and she loved it! She has told everyone she's talked to since she got home about riding Cornbread, the Dixie Stampede Horse. Pops took the rest of us on the ride, including my 6 yr old on his own horse, and patiently answered my kids questions the entire ride. The zip line and horseback ride were great, but the people who work there really made the experience awesome for us. Thank you for making great memories for our family!

{Our family went on the horseback ride while on vacation. It was a great experience. The staff is knowledgeable, cares about the ssafety of both rider and the animal, and still are down to earth and some funny characters. {Me and my boyfriend came to Jayell Ranch. We heard about them from a pamphlet we found in Pigeon Forge. I think it was well worth the time spent there. Also worth the pay. The staff was awesome. We ziplined and rode the horseback trail ride. It was my first time ziplining and the staff worked very well at making sure I was comfortable before descending. The horses were well trained and friendly. The petting zoo was awesome. I enjoyed everything about Jayell Ranch.

{Took my daughter here yesterday to just go horseback riding after getting the decided to use our coupon and zip line too!! Both of us scared the staff made us both feel so much better and in turn we had a blast...thank you Shamus and Bradly for making our first time awesome! {My husband who always said he'd never horse back ride agreed to go as long as I tried zip lining. So was able to get the combo. Loved both. My horse acted prissy and refused to go through mud if there was any way around it ( and I mean ANY). She was awesome!! If I ever make it back to Tennessee I'd so come back to ride horses again. Loved the zip lining but would want to try the 6 lines next time. All guides we got were great with us

{The horses were amazing! I am not the best rider but I had no trouble with my Whiskey, and I rode double with my two year old! Jason was a very capable guide. We had a bit of a blizzare, no typical, ride. Our first guide left her horse to help a guest go back. Jason was able to find ways to get us and all the horses back drama free. My only recommendation is get more experienced staff. My husband and daughter absolutely loved the zip line!

{We came to Jayell ranch and bought the horseback riding and zip lining combo package. When we got our wristbands, we were told to go "get a number" for horseback riding, and that the wait would be 25 minutes. After 1.5 hours our number was finally called, and they had only sent one horseback tour out in that time, even though the website says they leave every 15-20 minutes. After our number was called, we stood on the dock for about 30 minutes waiting for them to put us on horse, while we saw some employees standing around the barn smoking. Then it took about another 30 minutes to get our whole group on horses. And while on the horseback ride, it is mostly through a heavily wooded area, without mountain views that we were expecting. Then because this process took 3.5 hours, we had to come back another day to do the zip line, however, when we came back for the zip line tour it was great, and the guides were great.

{Great experience, affordable prices. I enjoyed every moment of my time here. I got a combo deal with atv ride and also zip-line which was only $100. Each activity was a hour long in which the staff was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire tour. If you are ever in the area this is the place to experience.

{We went to Jayell ranch while on family vacation. We rode ATV's and did the 3 zipline combo pack. My wife and boys ages 12 and 15 had a blast riding the ATV's... LANCE our guide was awesome, he asked if we had ever rode them before and we had, we own 3 of them... on our ride Lance could tell we had expierence so he let us open em up a lil bit. the 1 hour trail is fairly rugged and we had soooo much fun, Thanks Lance!!! Ziplines were awesome as well, ADAM and CHRISTOFF were our zipline guides and both made sure we were safe.... They were very funny as well, telling jokes while we waited. {My Family went ATV Riding 3-24-17 OMG is all I have to say, my granddaughter rode off trail the staff was at her side like ASAP, she was afraid after that but it didn't stop this amazing CREW another wonderful CREW MEMBER hop on and brought her on the ride. Then after that I got stuck going up a hill they QUICKLY jump in AMAZING not to mention my artistic son was riding behind me he really enjoyed it. {We did the horseback riding and zip line package for our first day in Tennessee! It was the best experience we could have ever imagined. The weather was perfect, ray led our ride on the trails and he was so funny and welcoming! We had Adam and Bailey for the zip lines and they were hilarious, upbeat, and very friendly!!! They made sure we felt safe and we had a ton of fun with them! Our experience was so amazing that we're coming back again before we head back home next week!! {Y'all I don't normally take out time to write reviews,but me and my boyfriend came to the Smokies for our 5 year anniversary. We're from myrtle beach and were very surprised to see most of the area was very much the same as what we have back home so after reading some reviews we decided to come to Jauell ranch to try something different. All I can say is MONEY WELL SPENT. We did the horseback riding and the half zip line. The only disappointing part was we only did the half zip definitely spring for the full 6 because you're not gonna want to stop! I believe our horseback guide was rau, and he was the nicest gentleman ever. Despite the trail being muddy the horses did amazing. I rode blue and they put my boyfriend (whos never been on a horse a day in his life, my family free up around them) on cornbread. The mountain views from the trail are amazing and we even saw some deer! The zip line instructors Chase and Taco were so funny and so much fun. Was the only adventure on our trip were weren't disappointed with at all and the price isn't too expensive for what you get. Worth every penny and we'll definitely be coming back with our daughter. THANKS FOR MAKING OUR ANNIVERSARY MEMORABLE!!

{We are on our first vacation and really wanted to go horseback riding and the ziplines. Jayell Ranch was great and personable. Kenzi was our tour guide for the horses and she was very fun and easy to talk to which made the experience very pleasant. For the ziplines we started with Kenzi and Choppo until Kenzi switched out with Adam even then we had fun. The trip there wouldn't have been the same without our guides. Thank you!

{Me and my friends were in the Great Smoky Mountains during our fall break vacation. We decided to do horseback riding at Jayell Ranch. I was very interested because I wanted to reminisce some memories when I took lessons in Minnesota. I asked the horse staff out of curiosity what is the biggest horse on the ranch. Before you know it, I was asked if I was interested in riding the biggest horse during the adventure (which I gladly accepted). Once I hopped on Diesel (the horse's name), memories from 10+ years ago started to come back to me. One woman made a joke about the horse I rode why the horse's name was Diesel (because I was told he was the biggest horse in the ranch). Dakota, our guide, was very helpful and friendly. Especially since my horse was close to him every time we stopped and continued (turns out that our guide was Diesel's owner (hopefully I'm right about this) I could be wrong). I haven't ridden a horse since 2005, and it is easy for me to say that this is the best time of my life! I wanted to thank Dakota and all the staff at Jayell Ranch for making this horseback riding experience the best one! And a big shout out to Diesel for carrying a big guy like me through out the adventure! 😀 I will be more than happy to return to the ranch when I am in the Great Smoky Mountain area! {Me my wife and two daughters (13 and 7) went for a hourseback ride and had a wonderful time. The trails were laid out well and our guide Keith was very nice. Afterward we rode the zip lines and the young men that went with us on the zip lines were very nice and patient with all of us. This is a great place to to take the whole family and spend some time having fun. The whole staff was quite exceptional and. Dry patient with us. We will return on our next trip as I think my 7 year old wants to ride a bourse by herself.

Only regret I have is that I should have done all 6 lines instead of three.. will definitely be back and will do all 6 lines the next time.. {We decided to do the zip line and four wheeling. Oh Blue was on the catch end and every single person he said" Hey ! How was It." So that became the theme for day and our group. We then moved to the four wheeling , which was a long wait not very comfortable in heat but once we Got on our Guide Buck did an excellent job and made very interesting ride.. {Honestly the best experience ever! We were a group of 14 who did ATV's, Ziplining, & Horseback Riding. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Kept everyone entertained. The wait times were a little long but what do you expect with a large group. Our kids were entertained with all the extras the ranch had. They were running around in the pigpen trying to catch the little pig so they could take it home. Thanks Adam for the laughs. {Today my boyfriend and I did the horse back riding ATV combo. This was well worth the money! We loved the trails for the ATV riding and how long it was. It was awesome. Our tour guide was PK. From the ticket booth to the employees just walking around everyone had a smile on their face. We absolutely loved every minute of it. We will definitely be back. There are a few places for ATV tours around here but this one is a must!

{We thoroughly enjoyed our day at the Ranch and it was exactly that. I failed to get all the names of everyone who helped us, but they were all great. We were allowed to ride as individuals and it did not feel as if we were being guided as much as riding along with friends on a their private piece of property. Christof on the Zip-line was great and kept my boys intrigued. Jordan on the trail ride was awesome and he was great with the all kids. I grew up riding horses and ATV's and the experience was more than I had expected. {we did the horseback riding and 3 zip line combo i called to see if we needed reservations the lady on the phone told me no we could just show up. When we arrived we paid for our combo and went towards the riding stable.we had to wait in line for 1 hour before we even reached the stables and then they put my child on a horse and sat him directly in the sun. He sat there for 45 minutes and they kept telling us we were almost ready . The ride was just ok nothing spectacular.TORI our guide was very helpful,funny,and made our child feel special. After horseback riding we headed for the zip line we waited in line for about 20minutes and then we had to Walk up a very long hillside to get to the first zip line. The zip lines were fun but the views could have been way better nothing but trees. We arrived at the last zip line and they told 2 members of my group they couldn't go on this one due to the wait limit. for one neither men exceeded the weight limit and for two they didn't say anything at the beginning. They said they would send someone on a ATV to come and pick them up they waited at the top of the hill for 30-45 min for them to come and get them.mind you it was at least 100 degrees! I will not be back due to the lack of caring they have for there customers.

{Our family of five from Florida spent several hours at the ranch. We went horseback riding and ATV riding. As beginners on horseback, we were treated very well. McKenzie was our leader and she was awesome. They picked out great horses for us and we enjoyed a beautiful day and experience. Our kids, all girls, are 8,11, and 14. Apprehensive at first but loved it in the end. They can't wait until next time. PK was our ATV leader and was great. He was very careful and safe with everyone. He made sure all was having a great time. The girls now want an ATV. We all had a blast. Wife and kids smiling all day and still talking about it. Everyone associated with Jayell Ranch was kind, friendly and welcoming. We can't say anything negative about the place. Even enjoyed the farm animals on the ranch. {Expected a boring ride in the Smokeys at a snails pace. Buck (our guide) delivered an exciting ride through challenging trails and allowed us to ride within our abilities. Just rained so there was plenty of slip sliding throwing mud. Was definitely worth the cost. Will be back again.

{We had a great time Horseback riding. It was my 6 year old granddaughter's first time on a horse alone. Kenzie our guide was great. She had my granddaughter follow right behind her. The horses are well trained. The ride took about an hour. Very enjoyable ride. Great scenery. Look forward to returning next year.

{We were a group of 14 people who did 6 lane zip lines, there were only 2 people to lead us from start to end. After each zip line we had to wait for about 40 min for our next one as we all had to finish ours and the 2 guys who led us has to switch places. Our over all time was about 5 hours and we had to skip horse ride because of this. This is the worst experience. I would not recomment this at all.

{Our party was a group of 12 adults and 2 children, 1 which was 5 yrs. old and 1 that was 2 yrs. old. We were really nervous since no one in our party had been on a horse in 10+ years.... let alone a 5 yr. old who has never been on a horse in her life. Toria (sp?) was our guide and she put the 5 yr. old directly behind her lead horse. Despite being a slow walk, it was a really good trail - both open spaces where the horses went a little faster, and closed / forest spaces that were more difficult to navigate. Toria did great and made sure everyone was safe and progressing on the ride. The horses were great and all of them behaved very well. I was the only double rider with me and my 2 yr. old son - our horse, named Haus, was really good the entire ride. Overall great experience, would definitely recommend this place and will return in future trips. Bonus: at the end of the ride Toria gave my 5 yr. old daughter an old horseshoe from the stables.... which really made her day. Thanks so much for a great experience on our Gatlinburg vacation.

{Best in town, Our 2nd visit since 2013 and it still feels like our first time, they are very family friendly and down to earth great prices also we did ATVS AND the 6 ZIPLINES plus horse back loved it has 2 of the longest ZIPLINES around wear old shoes and clothes you will be dirty and dusty once you leave and I'm a gadgets type of guy it's GoPro friendly also bring your own or rent there's last do the online waiver for $5 off every bit helps

Neither of the girls had ridden before. 6 year old was given instructions before we left and put at front behind guide who kept praising her great riding! 3 year old rode with dad. {We enjoyed the peaceful ride, friendly stable guys, and nice guide. It was very frustrating to call the ranch twice about the Jackson Mountain Homes free ride deal and be led to believe that everybody in our party would be riding free today when they expected us to provide a special paper that nobody ever mentioned AND it tuned out that we only were eligible for 1 free ride for 1 person. It just would have been nice to know ahead of time.

{I went horse back riding and it was the best! Our guide, Jordan, was by far the greatest tour guide weve experienced while on vacation here. He was very funny, sweet, and was definitely the friendliest person ive met thus far. I cant wait to come back and go riding again!

{We did the zipline and horseback riding and enjoyed ourselves very much. Although the zip line was not for me, if they had told us that we had to walk a very steep uphill climb to get to the first platform I probably would not have done this. Maybe they should let you know about the hill (in case you have bad knees or hips or breathing problems)before you sign up. But that was just my experience. The horses were great and we had a great trail ride. We will come back next year but just for the horse back riding.

{I just wanted to say that you have an amazing group of people working there giving incredible experiences to visitors. Myself and 3 other girls had a great time zip lining and horseback riding. Bushy (or sparky we were told both were his name) and Adam were our instructors and they were very patient and kind. Bushy even encouraged us to go outside of our comfort zones, he had me go upside down on the second zip line and I was very proud of myself and grateful to him for pushing me though I didn't show it well. Matt was our guide on the horse back riding we had a very big group and I'm sure it was not easy for him to watch over us all but he did a great job with what he had, haha! {My girls and I enjoyed a fantastic day at Jayell Ranch. We had a great experience riding the horses today and our guide, Ally, was awesome. She was so friendly and fun. {My younger sister and my dad and I went to Jayell Ranch while we were in town and went Zip lining (guides Travis and Cherokee) and horseback riding (Jason)--- Fantastic ! The trails were beautiful and breathtaking with all of the mountains on this hills that could be seen when zip lining and horseback riding. Safety was very important to all of the workers, they treated you like family and would joke around with you. I would defiantly recommend doing the 6 zip lines - not 3, because the last 3 are incredible! We've all decided that next time we visit we will always come back(:

{I have alot of control issues due to my service to my Country. I was to say the least petrafied to allow myself to reliquish control.Some of the guides are Veterens themselves and fully understood some of my issues. My wife and I were there on our Honeymoon and we were made over as we say in the Country . And let me tell you that the guys working there on the Zip lines were complete gentleman when attaching the harness lines to my wife. I also was so nervous that I completely forgot my camera for any pics. The guys there took pics of us on his camera, and then on their own time forwarded and then even contacted us afterwards to ensure our honeymoon memories arrived and viewable. You may possibly find a cheaper price, but you will not find a group of people that will treat you like family while in Tenn

Very patient with the inexperienced riders and added some humor to the ride. If you are experienced this ride might be a little slow paced but the scenery and views make up for that. Moved on to the ATV ride and "Jolly" was the guide. He was very friendly and kept the whole experience super! Lots of downhill and climbs, ruts and bumps. Slow enough for the inexperienced but paced just fast enough to keep you on your toes. Highly recommend this ranch to anyone wanting to ride horses, ATVs, zipline, or off road go kart. {My family and I just got back from a ride with our guide Dave and we had an awesome time! It's been years since I've rode and my family has never ridden. They had little panic moments and Dave did a great job of being patient and guiding them through it! Amazing views! Morning temps were good and the staff was very friendly. The horses were the stars of the trip. Biscuit, Socks and a special thanks to Big Red who had to carry me! Loved it! Can't wait to do it again!

{Absolutely love Jayell ranch! I'm disabled i.e.in a wheelchair. Wyatt treated me wonderfully. He's put me in a go-cart, and thrown me down the mountain numerous times. Loved every minute. If you're up his way, do yourself a favor, check his place out. I guarantee a great time had by all!

{My daddy and I went zip-lining on Jayell Ranch this past Friday and it was amazing. My daddy had never been zip-lining and he had a great time. Coalminer and Einstein were awesome to both of us and made sure we had a great time!! The gentleman that checked us in, was super nice, and easily answered our questions. {Very relaxing trail ride with our horses, Diesel and Rosie. Our guide, Nadia was very friendly and helpful. The ziplines were were great. Our guides Christoff and Einstein were very friendly and nice to work with. We are new to horseback riding and ziplines so the staff made the experience a very pleasant one. We would highly recommend Jayell Ranch.

{This was our first time zip lining and we were nervous about what to expect. We chose Jayell because it was very affordable for us. With that said, we were unsure if the low cost would mean low quality service. We were so wrong! The crew members treated us professionally and with enthusiasm and excitement. The zip lines themselves were amazing! They took us from the small ones to the larger ones allowing us to become comfortable along the way. They understood we had small children, but still allowed them to experience it with us. Since then we have been zip lining in other places and have felt very restricted and just herded like cattle through the line instead of like people who want to learn and enjoy themselves. Nothing compares to our experience with Jayell - we hope to be able to come back one day and do it again!!!

{We had an awesome time on the ranch, zip lining was a first for me and my husband, but your guys made it very fun and safe, will defiantly do it again next time were in Tennessee. Our guides were very entertaining, not good with names but do remember coal miners daughter. lol

{What a great experience. This was the first time on a zip line for us and my children's first horseback ride. My wife is afraid of heights but Kristoff and Einstein were thorough and made it easy. The horses were very gentle and needed little steering to keep them on the trail. What a great day!

{First and foremost, what a terrific staff! There were 9 of us ages 8 to 60 and we all had a lot of fun with them. Also, It was very convenient to have so many different activities in one location and reasonably priced. We did horseback riding and zip lining. Although it was our first time zip lining we've been on several trail rides and that was one of the best with beautiful views. The horses were amazing!

{My wife, two kids and I went and zip lined just last weekend and it was the best thing we could have done. This place had the best staff who showed us how to be the most safe. They also made this so much fun by enjoying it with us and helping to watch out for our 2 little ones, which gave us peace of mind while we played. We thank you all very much because it was by far the highlight of our vacation. =) THANK YOU!!

{Great Experience. Our guide Susan was Wonderful. I got to ride Blizzard. My family had a really good time since for most of us it was our first time on a horse. The horses are very well trained and the staff is super friendly and i would totally recommend the trail ride it a great experience for us.

{Susan was a GREAT guide! The scenery is beautiful and the horses are very well-tempered. My husband and I rode on Lady and Speckles and really enjoyed adding this to our weekend vacation. {My family and I took our 1st Zip line adventure at Jayell Ranch. The guys running the zip lines were very therough and explained everything we needed to know in detail. We had bought a package that included horse back riding as well. The entire operation is a family business and it shows in the care of the equipment and the horses. Terry was our guide on the trail ride and our yougest son who had never been on a horse that was not a on lead had a great experience. Sean and Susan were running the horse riding part of the operation and are both seasoned horse people. Their own horses live there as well and Sean offered to let me ride one of his own horses on a 2nd ride. Mom and our oldest boy went back out for a 2nd ride with Susan which Sean offered since they were not busy at the time. It was nice to see the horses so well cared for. We did not do the quads or side by sides but watched as Sean explained to new riders what to do before Matt took them out on the ATV trails. Matt was performing maintenance on the ATVs when we had arrived and everything about the operation was very reassuring from a safty standpoint. They offer a great family day out for everyone regardless of age and the activities were a great value

{My sister and I went on the horse back ride and 6 zip lines. The crew at Jayell Ranch were welcoming, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. I would recommend them to everyone I know.

{We did the horseback and atv rides. The horses were great my wife had lady and I was on a big boy named diesel. The tour guide for the horses were great. The atv ride was a blast it was just me my wife and the guide. He took us off the trail a little to get some mud. Very fun thinking about going back tomorrow!

{My group and i went on our first day of vacation. it was absolutely amazing. Susan was our guide. she did an awesome job! My 4 year old loved our horse, Red. plus it started snowing during our ride which made it even better! i highly recommend this place to anybody looking to ride horses on their vacation to the smoky mountains 🙂

{Me and my daughter were in Gatlinburg and heard about the ranch from our cabin. We wanted something fun & low key to do so this was perfect, and my daughter was really looking forward to going horseback riding. Everyone there is so friendly and Susan, our guide, was really nice & informative… very down to earth people. I was a little scared but we had a great time… the view of the mountains when you get to the top was pretty. I was on "Sox"" and my daughter had ""Camanche"". Thanks for a great experience

{Ashley and I stopped in on March 3rd and had a great time. We went horse back riding then 6 zip lines. The ppl there are so friendly and down to earth, They made us feel at so welcome and at home. They made the visit worth it! The guide on the ride was so nice, I think her name was Susan. She took pics and text them to me. Adam and Chris took us on the zip line they made the trip a blast I will be back and I hope to have the same guides. {My boyfriend and I went to Jayell Ranch yesterday and had an awesome experience. We bought the $49 deal which was one hour of horseback riding and then 3 ziplines but once we did 2 ziplines we ended up upgrading for $20 more to do the other 3 ziplines. I had never been ziplining before and I would recommend it to everyone! If you just do the horseback zipline combo you miss out on the 3 most fun (and longest) ziplines they have. Our guides were funny and I felt totally safe the whole time. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!!

{We went as a group of 10 and enjoyed every bit of it. We had some nervous kids (as young as 5) and a few nervous adults! I was a bit worried about the 28 degree weather, but all of that faded away after the first line. Our "I can't do it"" kids became the ""I""m first"" bunch by the time we hit the second line. {On 12/23/2013 we went on the ziplines with Sean & Adam; they were great and the experience was awesome (2nd time ziplining and this place was the best). We then went on the ATVs - mudding with Sean; so much fun - the kids (small and big) loved it. We had such a great day we came back today on Christmas and went horseback riding and ATV'g again. Susan took us around on the horses and she was wonderful and the horses were very gentle. Sean took most of the family out on the ATVs again. They really know what they are doing and they couldn't have been any friendlier or accommodating! Thank you Jayell for two great days!

{I was their with two of my friends. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed very much our two instructors, they were the best. One of the things that stood out was the safety that was instilled by the instructors. If you want to have fun and also feel that you will be safe, GO and have a ball.

{My time at Jayell was absolutely amazing, thrilling, and joyous! This was my first time on a zipline and every bit of it was incredible. I enjoyed it so much that I converted my trip from the half-course to the full 6 zipline course. My guides, RC and Hunter, were very knowledgeable and patient. I definitely plan to return in a few months!
